Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs)
Kratos General Microwave designs and produces custom Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs), sometimes called “Supercomponents”, to meet specific customer requirements. These products integrate microwave components such as attenuators, switches, oscillators, amplifiers, filters, couplers and mixers, with the associated electronic circuitry, into one overall assembly.
Kratos General Microwave’s Integrated Microwave Assemblies are based on various design and integration technologies: (A) Microwave Integrated Circuit (MIC) technology, (B) Surface Mount Technology (SMT), (C) Discrete Components. The optimal integration technology for a specific application depends upon various factors, including frequency range, bandwidth, available volume and number of modules required in serial production.
